Greenwich Ballet Students -- Connecticut Ballet To Hold Auditions for Spring Production
Female dancers between the ages of 9 to 15 are sought for 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.'
Connecticut Ballet will hold open auditions for children’s dance parts for its spring 2015 production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ on Sunday, Feb. 1.
The auditions will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at Connecticut Ballet Center, 20 Acosta St. in Stamford.
The company requires girls ages 9 to 15 with previous dance experience for children’s character roles (Dragonflies, Butterflies, Fairies, and Amazons) in the full-length production choreographed by Artistic Director Brett Raphael.

Weekly rehearsals will begin Sunday, Feb. 22 with the culminating performances at Palace Theatre, Stamford on April 18, The Bushnell in Hartford on April 26 and Elim Park in Cheshire on May 2.
The audition will be conducted in two parts: girls ages 9 to 11 from 1 to 2 p.m. and girls ages 12 to 15 from 2 to 3 p.m. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
