BioWare had a lot of goodwill to recoup. Despite Dragon Age 2 delivering a solid continuation of the story set up in the much-loved original, it felt rushed. Overused environments, underwhelming visuals, an action-heavy combat system and a condensed game world all combined to cause consternation amongst fans. There was unrest in Thedas, and there was a lot of rebuilding to do. Thankfully, Dragon Age: Inquisition ably demonstrates that an astounding amount can be achieved in four years.
Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.
Amazon announced a partnership with Electronic Arts to deliver even more free games and in-game content to Prime Gaming subscribers.
Amazon announced the Prime Gaming gifts for the month of November: Control Ultimate Edition, Dragon Age Inquisition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and more.
The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription
How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?
lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
The only negative I can find to this game is being nervous of eventually doing something wrong and getting into a situation that'll hurt my progress.
In Origins I ended up making a choice that caused my primary healer turn against me so I had no choice but to end her life. I was in shock as I stood over a pile of her bones. I was pretty much screwed after that moment.
I was never a big fan of this franchise despite playing both Origins and DA 2. DA: Inquisition however, blew me away. I'm rarely surprised the by the story line and twists in RPGs but that ending is a real shocker.
THere are some games that just score off the charts and DA:I,for me, is one of them.
I would score the game somewhere between:
"Digital Crack"
and
"My Real Life is a merely a hindrance, in order to play DA:I"
