Martin Toney writes:"So you think you know Metal Gear, eh? Well if you haven’t been habitually checking the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s official website, then you’re already out of date when it comes to “official” news. There’s now a story blurb (a short summary) of the stories introduction, which I found to be rather contradictory."
Whether it's showcasing damage realistically or simulating fractures and conditions, these games are worth checking out.
The Metal Gear series has sold 60.2 million copies, as of September 2023.
...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is another rollercoaster of a game in the Metal Gear Solid series. Here's what to expect and why you need to experience it.
Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.
The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.
and this means what exactly? EVERYTHING Kojima does is confusing.
Because Cipher (Zero) never ever uses people to get his dirty work done. Lolz.
Because this story is not some halfbaked simple revenge story that most games get.
Most games stories are so simple that when something with depth comes along people with short attention spand are going to get confused.
Story.
Family gets murdered, hero is out for revenge. Simple plot used over and over.
The whole series is confusing
Confusing? Nah, MGS didn't touch the confusing level of Xenogears or Xenosaga.
Imo, if you play MGS 3 than basicly you will understand the core story of MGS, including MGS V.
