Summary
The sea welcomed Bilbo with a cold embrace, stealing away his breath as he sank.
Thorin's horrified face remained in his mind as he lost strength, unable to do anything but watch the sun's light grow fainter.
A part of him wished that the crew would long remember him after this - that they would think of him from time to time in fond remembrance. He knew Thorin never truly warmed to him, but he couldn't help wanting him to feel some sadness at his passing.
As a ribbon of crimson rose from his body, reaching towards the fading light, he shut his eyes and accepted his fate. -

Summary
Yun, a girl living in the 21st century, finds herself plucked from her own reality and thrust into the world of Middle-earth one day. Upon meeting Gandalf, however, she learns that this is not just a random day--just this morning, the dwarven prince Thorin the Second was born under the Lonely Mountain.
Armed with just the rough knowledge of Thorin's life story gleaned from the films she has seen, Yun decides she will do what she can to change the fate of Erebor.
Little does she know, that since the moment she appeared in Middle-earth, her fate has become bound to Thorin's. With disaster looming, she is forced to shoulder the burden of knowing Middle-earth's future and tasked with directing its course to a better conclusion.
This fic is currently already half-finished. Chapters will be posted regularly until the story reaches its end.

When Kili wakes up the morining of the quest, he's a bit surprised considering he had just died. He then realizes no one else in the company seems to know what the hell he's even talking about. By the grace of the Valar, he's been given the chance to change the outcome — only problem is he doesn't even know how it bloody ends, since he died before he knew the fate of everyone in battle.
Well, no one could say Mahal didn't have a sense of humor.

OR, Kíli is separated from his family after the fall of Erebor. Years later, the Company of Thorin Oakenshield have finally reclaimed their homeland. Now, they are leading dwarves from Ered Luin back to the Lonely Mountain. Kíli, hoping to find some luck in the reclaimed kingdom, joins the latest caravan. Of course, he gets accused of stealing, hides in some rich persons tent, and somehow ends up working as a servant for the Company. Oh, and did he mention, he's apparently a prince. He's not going to tell anyone though.
AKA the separation au i could not get out of my head so now it's gonna be everyone's problem. I am not a native english speaker, so bear that in mind.

In which Bilbo having been Beladrielas the Clever, the dragon to fight on the side of the Free Peoples changes things, including the home of Legolas Stoneheart, son of Thranduil.
After his last encounter with Smaug (in which he was wounded to the point of death) he has spent centuries recovering in the Shire.
When, many years after Smaug's reappearance in Erebor, Gandalf turns up at Bag End with twelve dwarrow and one elf in tow with a dangerous, insane plan to finally end Smaug, Beladrielas-turned-Bilbo cannot help but be caught up in it.

“I know you’re there.” He spoke, gazing into the darkness of the woods across from him.
Melting from the shadows, the creature he had grown to know appeared, gliding across the fallen bodies and sitting next to Bilbo. “They have fallen once again.”
Shrugging, Bilbo kicked away a stray arrow. “At least it was painless this time.”What would you do if you’d been given the chance of a second chance? The chance to save those you loved?
When the offer was first given, Bilbo thought it was a blessing, a sign that he could save them. Now? His only wish is one of rest but he lost hope for any type of peace long ago. Any respite. Living his life over and over, condemned to suffer a fate worse than death until he saves the line of Durin. -

Summary
Following the Battle of the Five Armies, a seriously wounded Thorin Oakenshield returns to Erebor to recuperate and eventually ascend the throne as king. With the deaths of Azog the Defiler and his son, Bolg, Thorin no longer has to worry about the bounty the Defiler placed on his head and can instead concentrate on restoring Erebor to its former glory.
Nina Carren of Esgaroth has one goal—to make Thorin Oakenshield pay for unleashing Smaug the dragon unto her home—where he destroyed the town and killed her family. The Defiler might be gone, but his bounty remains very much in place, and she fully intends to collect on it.
Finally, the opportunity shows itself for her to do just that, only to have it go horribly awry. Wounded and now at his mercy, neither Nina nor Thorin stopped to think what might happen, should things not go quite according to plan…

His name is apparently Frerin and Bilbo is fairly certain no one else can see him. Also he might be a ghost, as much as it pains Bilbo to acknowledge that ghosts are apparently real.

The thing about ghosts is that there aren’t many, especially in the shire. You have to be really really stubborn to avoid the afterlife or there would be ghost just about every where. Naturally you’re unlikely to find anyone more stubborn than the line of durin.

Summary
A modern girl is transported into Tolkiens world at the start of The Hobbit after she dies. She was an avid Tolkien fan during her life and using her knowledge she is determined to help Bilbo and the Dwarves get a better future. She just needs to figure out the language difference and regain her health while she does so. As she continues on her journey she decides she's not just going to change the ending of The Hobbit but try and lay the groundwork for a better ending The Lord of the Rings as well.
This is my first ever fanfic, and really my first ever serious attempt at writing. My plan is for this to be a really long fic with a lot of moments between characters as they travel. If you see any mistakes I missed or have ideas on ways things could be written better feel free to let me know, just please go easy on me.

The novelty of being dead fades quickly, and watching over his companions soon fills him with grief and guilt. Oddly, a faint flicker of hope arises in the form of his youngest kinsman, a Dwarf of Durin's line with bright red hair.
