Police Accused Unlicensed Driver of Weaving, Drunk, on the Thruway in South Nyack

Police have charged a Yonkers man they stopped on I-87 last night.

Moses Garcia Santiago of Yonkers faces charges of aggravated DWI and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, in connection with an incident on the New York State Thruway Oct. 23.

State police said a trooper saw a vehicle weaving from lane to lane while heading north on I-87 without tail lights at about 7:55 p.m.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as Moses Garcia Santiago.

Police said their investigation revealed that Garcia Santiago does not possess a drivers license and he was found to be intoxicated.

He was processed at the State Police barracks in Tarrytown where he provided a breath sample of 0.27% BAC, four times the legal limit.

Garcia Santiago was to be arraigned in the Village of South Nyack Court.
